New Client Information

Appointment Policy
  • Scheduling appointments can be made by calling 210-922-1231,Ā walk-ins welcome.
  • Surgeries appointments are scheduled Monday ā€“ Friday. Pets must be brought in between the hours of 8:00 am and 9:00 am. Routine surgeries are released from 4:00 pm to 6:30 pm.
  • Bath and Brush must be brought in before 10:00 am, Monday ā€“ Friday.Ā  Your pet will be ready after 4:00 pm.
  • Space is limited for surgeries and baths/grooming, please call to schedule your appointment orĀ log inĀ to your Pet Portal to request an appointment. Please make your requests 48-72 hours in advance.
  • All appointments not canceled within one hour of appointment time will be considered a ā€œNo Showā€ and charged a $25.00 ā€œNo Showā€ fee.
Pre-surgical Policy

No food after 6 pm and no water after midnight.

The new client information form provides us with all the necessary information about you and your pet to begin providing our services to you. This form is available inĀ EnglishĀ andĀ Spanish.

Puppy & Kitten Timetables

TheĀ puppyĀ andĀ kittenĀ timetables display the recommended ages your pet should visit our veterinarians at Alamo Dog & Cat Hospital to stay healthy.

I brought my frenchie here for a spinal injury and canā€™t say enough good things about my experience with the staff here. The woman at the front desk helped me with multiple things and was extremely accommodating and kind. They brought him back immediately due to his symptoms and addressed his pain and made sure he was stable. The vet came in and gave me options and didnā€™t up-charge with any services that werenā€™t necessary. Last night was of the hardest nights watching my baby go through such a terrible injury and Iā€™m so thankful for such an attentive and understanding staff that truly cared.

Amazing staff! Drive to Harrisburg for a ferret emergency and was told closest place that handles those pets is Quakertown. They were quick and amazing!!!!

I have always had a great experience at Quakertown Vet Clinic. I travel an hour each way to go there, especially to see Dr. Consigli but to me it is always worth the trip to get such good, compassionate care. I totally respect the opinions, advise and treatments received. I would go no where else with my pets. I would highly recommend this Clinic.
